The 2023 FOIA salary and benefits report reveals that City of Superior department heads and senior officials earned six-figure compensation packages. Planning Director Jason Serck topped the list at $137,778, while Mayor Jim Paine received $93,129 in base salary and approximately $30,000 in additional benefits and allowances.
The City of Superior awarded Cedar Creek Energy a $364,750 design-build contract to install a roof-mounted solar array at Fire Station 1 on Tower Avenue. Approved in March 2023, the project advances the city’s renewable energy goals and includes a five-year warranty, detailed safety and insurance standards, and adherence to the Responsible Contractor Ordinance.
