In this June 26, 2015 decision, Judge William M. Conley of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin granted partial summary judgment in Carlson v. Tactical Energetic Entry Systems, a case involving a Superior police officer injured during tactical training. The court dismissed the Safe Place claim but allowed one negligence theory to proceed concerning inadequate warnings during a “spider-hang” exercise.
