A federal civil rights lawsuit filed by Ian Cuypers against the City of Superior and three officers centers on a 2024 traffic stop that ended in Cuypers being tased while working as a DoorDash driver. At issue: glaring discrepancies between what officers documented in their police reports and what they admitted under oath in a courtroom.
